JetBlue Park plays host to an event May 21st at 6:00 PM to honor local Top High School Athletes for 2012.

The Boston Red Sox, News-Press and the local business community are supporting the event. The event honors 24 All-Area athletes chosen by the News-Press based on their athletic accomplishments. From this group one top male and top female athlete will be selected based upon community involvement, academic success and achievements within athletics.

The event also features Olympic athletes; gold medal track and field star Bob Beamon and U.S. pairs figure skating team Amanda Evora and Mark Ladwig. The banquet event celebration also includes a dinner.
