The Neenah, Wisconsin based company, which works for global brands and Fortune 100 companies, announced the Fort Myers expansion plans just over a week ago.

The company will move into an office in the Gateway community at 12600 Gateway Blvd., Fort Myers, FL; the 63,275 square foot building was previously occupied by Gartner Inc. before Gartner relocated across the street to a new facility.  Alta Resources, a call center operation for hire that does work in the health care, health insurance and entertainment industries, plans to hire more than 400 people for a new Lee county campus.

“This is a time of tremendous growth for Alta Resources,” Alta Resources Chairman and CEO Jim Beré says in the statement. “We are thrilled to make Fort Myers the site of our newest location as it brings access to a great employment base.”

The firm has already begun hiring people for a variety of positions, including full time, part time, year-round and seasonal. About Alta Resources:

CEO Jim Bere started the first teleservices company for consumer-packaged goods in 1982, that company was later acquired in 1990.  In 1995 Jim Bere founded what is now Alta Resource in Neenah, Wisconsin.  From there the acquired TMW in California, Howe Marketing in Michigan, opened a location in the Philippines and was named to the INC. 500 list.  They have expanded their campuses in Wisconsin, the Philippines, California and now are expanding to Fort Myers, Florida.

They market themselves as handling a suite of integrated business-process-outsourcing (BPO) services — care, sales, e-commerce and fulfillment — that not only create consistent brand experiences but make them better. That, in turn, develops new customer relationships, while keeping current customers engaged and coming back for the long term.
