RE-OPENS TODAY AFTER A SIX-MONTH MAJOR FACE-LIFT!
Gateway Golf & Country Club in Fort Myers is proud to celebrate its 25th Anniversary this year. Home to the highly rated Tom Fazio golf course ranked by Golf Digest on the list of Top 100 Courses, host of the Ben Hogan Tour Gateway Open, and GolfWeek’s Gateway Senior Invitational. The club also hosts numerous USGA qualifiers and PGA chapter and section events, including the Callaway Golf State Pro-Assistant event, which was previously hosted by the venerable TPC @ Sawgrass.
Tom Fazio personally paid a visit to Gateway to oversee the design and renovation, in order to restore the course to its original shape, size and quality. Concurrently, GGCC enlisted the genius of Ron Garl to design our new state-of-the-art practice facility, which will help all Members, from Junior to Senior golfers, in bringing their own game to a new level. The new Ron Garl practice facility features his “Compass Rose”, “Double Diamond”, and “Scoring V” Systems. This Game Improvement Center undoubtedly will be the most sought after practice facility in Southwest Florida!
