Fort Myers Taste of the Town November 3rd at JetBlue Park

 

The 31 year old Taste of the Town Food Festival will be held at JetBlue Park Fenway South, just outside the community of Gateway, November 3rd from 11AM to 5PM.  The Taste of the Town was previously held in downtown Fort Myers for the last 20 years.

 

The Fort Myers Taste of the Town event will take place at JetBlue Park on November 3rd, 2013; the event acts as a fundraiser for the Junior League of Fort Myers. The event brings in around 40 locally owned and franchised restaurants, along with additional vendors, media and entertainment. Each restaurant will present a “taste” of their best and most popular dishes. All food and beverage items will cost between $1 and $5 worth of tickets. Tickets will also be used to purchase entry to Kids Entertainment events. Cash Only is accepted the day of the event.

 

The admissions to the event remain the same, $5.00, children 12 and under are free.  Tickets are purchased to sample the various foods and drink offerings from the participating vendors. 

 

The new location for the event will offer plenty of additional parking and prove more convenient to all of Southwest Florida.  The event has averaged 10,000 guests but will hopefully attract more with the increased capacity.
