Boston Red Sox Spring Training 2015 at JetBlue Park (Fenway South) Fort Myers, Florida starts February 21, 2015

 

 

The 2015 Boston Red Sox season begins with Spring Training at JetBlue Park at Fenway South on February 21st, 2015.  Tickets for the 18 JetBlue Park home games are still on sale and will remain at the 2014 prices. Tickets can be purchased at JetBlue Park, by calling 888-REDSOX6 or at redsox.com.

 

All fans are welcome to visit the JetBlue Park Open House on Saturday, February 28th, 2015. The free event open to the public allows fans to walk the park and grounds with concessions available and street festival entertainment on Fenway South Drive inspired by Yawkey Way at Fenway Park.

 

 

The important dates for players reporting to camp and spring training are as follows:

 

February 20th: Pitchers and Catchers Report

Red Sox fans will see a bevy of new faces in camp this spring when pitchers and catchers gather to start spring workouts. First workouts will be held February 21st.

 

February 25th: Full Squad Reports

Excitement will be the word of the day as the full squad reports for the first time. The addition of Pablo Sandoval and Hanley Ramirez will look to help turn around the 2015 season.

 

March 5th: First Grapefruit League Game – Boston Red Sox  vs. Minnesota Twins at Hammond Stadium

Two days prior to the first Grapefruit League game, Sox fans can watch the Red Sox in action for the first time as they play their annual spring games against Boston College Eagles and Northeastern University Huskies on March 3rd for a single admission double header at JetBlue Park.

 

March 6th: First Red Sox Grapefruit League Home Game – Miami Marlins vs. Boston Red Sox  at  JetBlue Park at Fenway South

The first spring training home game for Boston Red Sox will take place at 1:05PM on Friday, March 6tth, 2015.

 

April 3rd: Last Boston Red Sox Grapefruit League Home Game – Minnesota Twins vs. Boston Red Sox at JetBlue

The Red Sox spring training home game finale will take place at 7:05PM on Friday, April 3rd, 2015.

 

April 4th: Last Grapefruit League Game – Boston Red Sox vs. Minnesota Twins at Hammond Stadium

The Red Sox will take on the Minnesota Twins in their final Graperuit League game before traveling to Citizens Bank Park to open the regular season against the Phillies.

The Chairman’s Cup—the annual trophy given to the winner of the Red Sox-Twins spring series as the two representatives of the city of Fort Myers—will be on the line.

 

JetBlue Park at Fenway South

The Red Sox opened the new 10,823-seat stadium in 2012.  JetBlue Park features an almost-exact replica of the 37-foot Green Monster at Fenway Park, complete with its own manual scoreboard.
