HeadPinz Entertainment Center on Treeline Avenue – Now Scheduled for Opening Spring 2015!
HeadPinz Fort Myers is bringing a new Bowling and Entertainment Center near the Gateway area. The facility, run by Bowling Management Associates, is a multi-million-dollar 45,000 square foot facility on 4 acres of land in the Southwest International Commerce Park on Treeline Avenue. The project has been planned for two years now and the site broke ground back in August 2014, the expectation is to open HeadPinz in Spring 2015. The center will feature the latest and greatest equipment and a showcase for QubicaAMF.
The HeadPinz Entertainment center bills itself as “a stunning display of both high-tech and retro features”; which will feature bowling lanes, a laser tag arena, a ropes course, arcade games, meeting rooms for corporate events, a sports café and two bars. There will be 24 synthetic bowling lanes that can change color and ambiance using lights and computers, along with a new ball-return and scoring system. The special lighting effects will project images onto the lanes, such as rivers or lava.
Headpinz will also be creating at least 100 jobs in the area with positions ranging from management, customer service, restaurant staff, event planners and mechanics. Bowling Management will hold a job fair this fall to fill the majority of those positions.
HeadPinz Fort Myers will be the newest edition to the Bowland Centers group, which runs bowling and entertainment facilities in Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties. For information on the Bowland Centers visit their website at www.bowlandcenters.com or HeadPinz at www.headpinz.com.
