JetBlue Park at Fenway South features Best of Taste in the Park Monday evening, October 19th, prior to the 33rd Annual Fort Myers Taste of the Town
Prior to the 33rd Annual Fort Myers Taste of the Town on Sunday November 1st, the Junior League of Fort Myers and the Red Sox foundation are coming together for a new fundraising event. The event, called Best of Taste in the Park, will allow attendees to taste some of Southwest Florida’s best restaurants in an exclusive night of food, one of a kind silent auctions, raffle prizes and self guided tours of JetBlue Park. Attendees will also participate in judging offerings from participating restaurants to decide the newly created “Peoples’ Choice Award” that will be showcased at the 33rd Annual Taste of the Town. Best of Taste in the Park will take place Monday, October 19th, from 6PM to 8PM at JetBlue Park.
Tickets for the are $75 each and include beer, wine, rum samplings, menu samplings from all restaurants and admission to the 33rd Annual Fort Myers Taste of the Town on Sunday, November 1st. Admission is limited to the first 200 tickets sold, so act fast.

The 33 year old Taste of the Town Food Festival will again be held at JetBlue Park Fenway South, just outside the community of Gateway. The event will take place on Sunday, November 1st from 11AM to 5PM. This is now the third year Taste of the Town will take place at JetBlue Park after previously being held in downtown Fort Myers for 20 years.
The Fort Myers Taste of the Town event will take place at JetBlue Park on November 1st, 2015; the event acts as the signature fundraiser for the Junior League of Fort Myers. The event brings in around 40 locally owned and franchised restaurants, along with additional vendors, media and entertainment. Local performers will be providing entertainment during the event. Each restaurant will present a “taste” of their best and most popular dishes. All food and beverage items will cost between $1 and $5 worth of tickets. Tickets will also be used to purchase entry to the Kids Entertainment area. Cash Only is accepted the day of the event; ATMs are available throughout the park.
The admission to the event is $5.00, children 12 and under are free, and parking for the event is $5.00. Tickets are purchased to sample the various foods and drink offerings from the participating vendors.
