Reminder: Fort Myers Brewing Company’s 4 Year Anniversary Celebration starts this week Thursday 2/23 to Sunday 2/26

Fort Myers Brewing Company is celebrating four years of good times and great beer! The past four years have been filled with success and growth for Fort Myers Brewing Company. Fort Myers Brewing company will be celebrating with four days of specialty brews, live music, food trucks and a beer mile!

 

The party kicks off Thursday, February 23rd and runs all weekend until Sunday, February 26th.

Thursday, February 23rd 3PM – 11PM:
Live Music: Country crooner Bobby James will be playing an acoustic mix of covers, and originals starting at 6:30pm.
Food Truck Rally Featuring: The Nosh Truck, Red Roc Cravings, Gator John’s BBQ, Doner Kebab King Karl, and Ma Petite Crêperie.

Friday, February 24th 3PM – 11PM:
Live Music: Local rockers High Five Friday will be putting on an outside concert starting at 6:30pm.
Food trucks: Organically Twisted Food Truck & Nonnie’s Pizza & Spudz Food Truck.

Saturday, February 25th 12PM – 11PM:
30+ Beers rotated throughout the day!
Live Music: Country meets rock & roll when Ben Allen Band rocks out the brewery starting at 7pm.
Food Truck Rally Featuring: The Nosh Truck, The Sizzle Truck, Rollin’ Raw Bar, and Currie’s Smokin’ Hot BBQ.

Live Music: Soulful indie rockers The Good Bad Kids will be playing a brunch-worthy set starting at 2pm.
Food Trucks: Hungry Pony Foodcart, and Mora Pizza.

Beer Mile Details:

Drink a Beer, Run 1/4 Mile. Repeat 3 More Times. Try Not to Fall Down.

• Start Time: 12:00 PM on Sunday, February 26th
• Course Details: The run will be on Fort Myers Brewing property. Time limit: 30 minutes
• Day of Registration: 11:00AM-12:00PM. There are limited tickets for the beer mile run – sign up early!
• Entry Fee: $30 for an Individual Entry, Relay Teams Welcome: 2 Person Relay = $45 total (2 beers each, 2 laps each, 1 shirt each); 4 person relay = $60 total (1 beer each, 1 lap each, 1 shirt each).
• Relay Details: Whoever registers the relay team must be present to pick up all t-shirts/bibs and bring all signed registration forms for each participant (emailed the week of the event). On race day all team members must show ID. The relay race happens at the same time as the individual race. For relay teams – 1st runner drinks the first beer, then runs the first lap. Once that runner is done, the second runner can drink his/her beer and run his/her lap and so on and so forth. For a two person relay, you can split it up however you choose – (i.e. same person runs the first two laps and the next person runs the last two OR switch off laps).
• Prizes: Awards for the fastest individual male and individual female.
• Inclement weather: First priority is your safety. In the event of rain/inclement weather, they will still try to run the beer mile – it just may be postponed. If, due to inclement weather, they have not started the run by 2 PM the run will be considered rained-out and a makeup beer mile will be held (details will be posted on facebook and emailed to participants if the case)
• Please watch for emails with details and waiver the week of the event.
• Drink responsibly and plan to have a designated driver!

*Entry fee includes beer during run & a t-shirt. **Must finish with all 4 beers still in your belly to be eligible for prizes. ***Shirt size only guaranteed to those registered before March 8th. ****Sorry Fort Myers Brewing Company is not able to offer refunds for this event. *****Race management determines beer flavor provided during beer mile (will be a Fort Myers Brewing beer), no substitutions are allowed.
