Fort Myers Brewing Company – Davidson Strong Benefit for local Lightning Strike Survivor

FMBrew is accepting auction & raffle donations for our Davidson Strong benefit happening on Friday, August 18th.

On Thursday, June 29th Meghan Davidson, who was nine months pregnant and only seven days away from her due date, was struck by lightning. While Meghan is on schedule to make a full recovery, this unfortunate event was fatal to her unborn child. Since the accident, Matt, co-owner of the F45 gym and a neighbor to FMBrew, has taken this time to spend with his wife and two young children.

On Friday, August 18th FMBrew, partnered with J.J. Taylor Distributing Florida, Inc., will be hosting a benefit supporting the Davidson family including a 50/50, silent auctions, and raffle items. FMBrew is currently accepting auction items, as well as monetary donations for the event. The event will feature Gator John’s BBQ and Taste of the South Food Trucks; along with music Soulixer from 6:30PM to 10:30PM.
