Gateway Flag Football League (GFFL) Fall Season Registration end August 31st

The Gateway Flag Football League’s 2017 Fall Season Registration ends August 31st, 2017

 

1. Player evaluations are September 6th, 8th, & 9th. Note that all players must be evaluated unless they played the Spring 2017 season. This is a change from past years.
2. Teams will be assigned by September 17th and practices start September 18th and 20th.
3. The first game is September 29th.
4. The last regular season game is November 17th.
5. There are no games the week of Thanksgiving.
6. The first playoff games are Nov 29 and playoffs will be finished by December 9.

 

The age divsions are as follows:

1. 5-6 years old
2. 7-8 years old
3. 9-11 years old
4. 12-14 years old

League Information:

• All players that register will make a team; evaluations are for rating the kids for the blind draft.
• You do not have to live in Gateway to play in our league.
• Practices will be held on Monday or Wednesday at 6:00 or 7:00 PM. The coach chooses the night.
• There are 8 regular season games plus playoffs on Friday nights at 6:30 and 7:45 PM.
• Teams are chosen in a blind draft based on an evaluation of their skills to keep the teams fair.
• Every player must have a mouthpiece. Mouthpieces will be available for purchase at our concession stand every week for $3.00.

All Games are played at the Sherman Soccer Complex in Gateway.
