Fort Rock leaves Fort Myers, 2018 Fort Rock to take place in Fort Lauderdale

 

The annual Fort Rock music festival that took place in JetBlue Park in Fort Myers will be relocating for its 6th annual Rock Fest to Markham Park in Fort Lauderdale – Sunrise, FL. The event sold out its first 4 years and almost sold out the 5th year, after expanding to a two day event. The move to Fort Lauderdale gives the rock music festival an expanded capacity of almost 60,000 people. JetBlue Park capacity for the event maxed out at around 15,000 people per day.

Officials with JetBlue Park and the Boston Red Sox confirmed the decision to relocate the event was made by the event organizers.
