Fine Folk Pizza claims Caputo Cup in the National Pizza Title

 

Local Gateway area restaurant Fine Folk Pizza recently competed for the National Pizza Title in Atlantic City, New Jersey and took home top prize, the Caputo Cup, in the Non-Traditional Pizza category. Each Pizza makers pie went under close scrutiny where the judging panel rated the pizzas based on the 5 different criteria elements. Crust, Taste, Bake, Visual Presentation, and Creativity.

 

The pizza features 57% hydration dough made with butterfly pea tea flower. Topped with aged sharp cheddar and mozzarella blend, light Alfredo sauce, wine glazed mushrooms, butter fried capers, and edible marigolds and pansies. Finished with some black pepper and a drizzle of Evoo.

 

 

The local Gateway area restaurant, that recently celebrated their 3rd year in business, was also recently named Best Kid-Friendly restaurant in Fort Myers.
