Boston Red Sox Spring Training Tickets on Sale Thursday at 10AM

In just a few short weeks, the Red Sox equipment truck will embark on its lengthy journey from Fenway Park to Fort Myers, marking the unofficial beginning of the new season. On February 2, the truck will leave Fenway Park, signaling the start of the team’s preparations for spring training. This day, commonly known as Truck Day, serves as a ceremonial occasion as the team gears up for training. Pitchers and catchers are scheduled for their first workouts on February 10, while the first full squad workout will occur on February 15. All workouts are free and open to the public. Additionally, the club will hold its annual exhibition game against Northeastern University on February 20.
Following that, the team will kick off its Grapefruit League schedule, beginning with a game against the Twins at Hammond Stadium on February 21. The Red Sox will also host an exhibition match against Team Puerto Rico on March 3, ahead of the World Baseball Classic. Furthermore, the club will hold two prospect showcases, including the Futures at Fenway South game at JetBlue Park on March 14 and the Spring Breakout game against a squad of Baltimore Orioles prospects in Sarasota on March 20. In total, the team will play 18 games at JetBlue Park in Florida, consisting of 15 Grapefruit League games, a special “Futures at Fenway South” event featuring top prospects, and a game against the Northeastern University Huskies. All games will commence at 1:05 p.m., with two night games scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
