Online registration has been extended until August 28th, so you can still register your children to play in the Gateway Soccer Association’s Fall soccer season for ages 3 years to 18 years old. The season will run from September to November, with games played on Saturdays, and a 1 hour practice mid-week. Parents can register their children online here – Registration – and following the easy instructions. All major credit cards are accepted. Took a little time to find a sunny day to capture some new pictures of the JetBlue Park construction on Daniels Parkway in Fort Myers, as there was a particularly heavy rainy spell here in Fort Myers and Gateway.  Took the pictures from the open end of Right Field section of JetBlue Stadium.  The construction is moving a little slower than expected but is starting to take shape.  We will post some alternate angles of the stadium in the next…

Recently went out to the site of the new Boston Red Sox Spring Training Facility set to open for the 2012 Spring Training Season in Fort Myers, Florida just outside the community of Gateway.  I got a wide panoramic shot of the stadium constuction and a close up shot of the construction (although it might be a little blurry for my taste).  You can really see the framework for the Green Monster, at Mini Fenway, starting to take shape now.  Also…
