On October 15th<\/sup>, hit a H<\/strong>OME <\/strong>R<\/strong>UN<\/strong> to the G<\/strong>REEN <\/strong>M<\/strong>ONSTER<\/strong> for safer families, communities and roadways by becoming a competitor or event partner in our Home Run Derby and Family Fun Day at JetBlue Park at Fenway South. Register by October 7th.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n MADD SWFL provides free, life-saving supportive services to the community in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties.\u00a0 MADD\u2019s office is in the Gateway neighborhood of Fort Myers.<\/p>\n In February 2013, MADD SWFL opened an office with one Program Specialist funded by a Florida Department of Transportation grant.\u00a0 The grant allowed MADD to establish itself, and in just three short years, offered free underage drinking prevention, education and awareness presentations and activities to over 30,000 youth, parents and community members.\u00a0 Locally, MADD has also honored more than 150 law enforcement officers for their dedication to drunk and drugged driving, held a victim\/survivor tribute and educated more than 8,000 DUI offenders.<\/p>\n Part of MADD\u2019s local strategy is to engage the community and become MADD Difference Makers.\u00a0 You can become a MADD Difference Maker by attending local events organized by the nonprofit in support of its mission.\u00a0 All events are family-friendly and fun!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n MADD SWFL will also be holding a Walk\/5K Run Event at JetBlue Park. On December 17th<\/sup>, help us celebrate the holiday season with a purpose by walking or running in our very-first Walk Like MADD\/MADD Dash 5K<\/strong> starting and ending at JetBlue Park at Fenway South and winding through the Gateway neighborhood.
