The Premier Development League\u00a0 – Southwest Florida Adrenaline will be holding tryouts this Saturday and Sunday, February 16th & 17th. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The tryouts will be at the Sherman Soccer Fields Complex\/Gateway Soccer Complex in Gateway off Griffin Road. There is a $125 walk-in tryout fee and a $100 charge to register online prior to Saturday.\u00a0 Receipt of payment and ID will be needed at each tryout <\/strong>(Refunds will only be made at the discretion of the front office, please call the front office if cancellation of participation is required).<\/p>\n

The times for both days will be as follows: Registration from 8AM-10AM, 10AM-1PM Tryout session, 90-minute lunch and 2:30PM-6PM Tryout session.<\/p>\n

SWFL Adrenaline Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The bedrock of the SW Florida Adrenaline is community involvement. Many of our activities focus on engaging the fan base to help develop and support the team to achieve its goal of preparing young adult premier players for a professional soccer career. Our organization provides an elite-level men\u2019s club so many talented players developed in the soccer hotbed of Southwest Florida will have a chance to represent their home region while pursuing their goals of playing at the professional level.<\/span><\/p>\n

SWFL Adrenaline Scope and Vision:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0SWFL Adrenaline\u00a0Soccer was created with the purpose in bringing a quality top level\u00a0Soccer program to the southwest region of Florida. Southwest Florida is a hotbed for soccer,\u00a0with many big youth clubs and academies flourishing in the last decade. These players are left\u00a0out to search for a place to play and prepare to move on to the professional ranks somewhere\u00a0else. Many players in this area play college soccer and have been waiting to have their own\u00a0Premier Development team in the area where they can train and become better athletes while\u00a0representing the region where they grew up playing. The USL\/PDL provided 26 of the 38 players\u00a0taken in the 2012 MLS draft. Over 50% of the players who have competed in the USL PRO had\u00a0PDL experience<\/p>\n

The SWFL Adrenaline will play in the USL\/PDL Southern Conference, Southeast Division, along\u00a0with FC Jax Destroyers, Fort Lauderdale Schultz Academy, IMG Bradenton Academies, Ocala\u00a0Stampede, Orlando City, Panama City, VSI Tampa, Mississippi Brilla.\u00a0<\/p>\n

During the 2013 season \u00a0SWFL Adrenaline will continue to support the community through\u00a0scholarships, free sessions for local high school players, \u00a0and providing training to those\u00a0interested in the business side of a USL\/PDL soccer team (Team management, advertising,\u00a0videography, sports trainer, sales, etc..). <\/strong><\/p>\n
