Boston Red Sox Spring Training 2014 at JetBlue Park Fort Myers, Florida

The World Series Champion Boston Red Sox begin reporting for Spring Training 2014 soon.

 

The dates for players reporting to camp and the start of spring training are as follows:

 

February 15th: Pitchers and Catchers Report

Red Sox fans will see a bevy of new faces in camp this spring when pitchers and catchers gather to start spring workouts. 

 

February 18th: Full Squad Reports

Excitement will be the word of the day as the full squad reports for the first time. They hope to continue the momentum of their 2013 World Series Championship into the 2014 season.

 

February 28rd: First Grapefruit League Game – Boston Red Sox  vs. Minnesota Twins at JetBlue Park

One day prior to the first Grapefruit League game, Sox fans can watch the Red Sox in action for the first time as they play their annual spring games against Boston College Eagles and Northeastern University Huskies on February 27th.

 

March 29th: Last Grapefruit League Game – Boston Red Sox vs. Minnesota Twins at JetBlue Park

The Red Sox will take on the Minnesota Twins in their final Graperuit League game before traveling to Camden Yards to open the regular season against the Orioles.

The Mayor’s Cup—the annual trophy given to the winner of the Red Sox-Twins spring series as the two representatives of the city of Fort Myers—will be on the line.

 

JetBlue Park at Fenway South

The Red Sox opened the new 10,823-seat stadium in 2012.  JetBlue Park features an almost-exact replica of the 37-foot Green Monster at Fenway Park, complete with its own manual scoreboard.
