Gateway Flag Football League (GFFL) Fall Season Registration Opens July 23rd

 

The Gateway Flag Football League’s 2018 Fall Season Registration starts July 23rd the last day to register will be September 9, 2018

 

1. Player draft will take place September 15th
2. Practices start September 17th.
3. The first game is September 28th.

 

The age divsions are as follows:

1. 5-6 years old
2. 7-8 years old
3. 9-11 years old
4. 12-14 years old

 

 

League Information:

• All players that register will make a team; evaluations are for rating the kids for the blind draft.
• You do not have to live in Gateway to play in our league, however there is a $10 surcharge for those living outside the GSCDD as the district charges us $20 per family that plays in our league and lives outside the district.
• Practices will be held on Monday or Wednesday at 6:00 or 7:00 PM. The coach chooses the night.
• There are 8 regular season games plus playoffs on Friday nights at 6:30 and 7:45 PM.
• Teams are chosen in a blind draft based on an evaluation of their skills to keep the teams fair.
• Every player must have a mouthpiece. Mouthpieces will be available for purchase at our concession stand every week for $3.00.

 

All Games are played at the Sherman Soccer Complex in Gateway.
