We will be posting new photos on the blog here in the next couple of days on the progress of the new JetBlue park the home of the Boston Red Sox Spring Training facility in Fort Myers set to open for the MLB spring training 2012 season.

The site work is really progressing and you can start to see the progress of 11400 through 11500 Ballpark Dr starting to take shape around the ballpark.  Still no more details on what the Red Sox who own the land directly in front of the stadium (on the North Side of Daniels Parkway) plan to do with that land.  The discussed plans called for it to mimic Yawkey Way in Boston, immediately south of JetBlue park will become an extension of the park on game days with entertainment, concessions and other activities.
