The Gateway Gives Foundation:

Formed by Charli and Doug Banks, The Gateway Gives Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit community organization focused on making a difference in the lives of its neighbors and enhancing the community through service and volunteer commitment. The Banks decided to established the foundation to provide a central unified support and service outlet for volunteers and a place to go for Gateway residents in need. The Gateway community has a long tradition of helping those in need and providing services when called upon. The foundation’s goal is to build off that tradition and to grow by providing an outlet for continued commitment to enriching our community.

 

The Jaime Fund:

Recently, when a Gateway family was hit by the tragic loss of their daughter Jaime DeSpirito, Gateway Gives immediately sprang into action. They started “The Jaime Fund” to help support the DeSpirito family in their time of need. The response from the community was overwhelming, with individual donations as large as $1000. This was just a glimpse into the large impact this new organization can have on our local community.

 

Gateway Gives Upcoming Events:

1. May 19th—Habitat for Humanity, Volunteer Day
2. June 16th—Festival in the Park

Donations are one of many ways you can show support for Gateway Gives Foundation. All donations go directly back to helping those in need or providing needed funding for foundation projects. You can make a donation at any event , on their website,  facebook page, or by contacting them at info@gatewaygives.org.
