USA Rugby’s Women Championship Coming to JetBlue Park

USA Rugby announced that the Emirates Airline USA Rugby Women’s Premier League, Division I and II Club Championships will take place at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, Fla. on November 9-11, 2012. This event will be hosted by the Naples Hammerheads Rugby Football Club, with help from the Fort Miami Women’s Rugby Football Club.

The Emirates Airline USA Rugby Women’s Division I Club Playoffs will spotlight the nation’s top eight women’s DI club teams. All USA Rugby territories will be represented. The winners of the playoff will advance to compete in Fort Myers.

JetBlue Park, which opened in March of 2012, is the spring training venue for the Boston Red Sox. It features six fields specifically designed to host soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, flag football and rugby, as well as other adjoining state-of-the-art facilities.
