The Gateway NFL Youth Flag Football League or GFFL wrapped up another successful season and announced plans to start a Spring season for 2012 in late January. The Boston Red Sox released their 2012 Spring Training schedule. The schedule includes 18 games at the team’s new Spring Training Stadium, JetBlue Park at Fenway South. The tickets for all 2012 spring training games at JetBlue Park are set to go on sale on 10 a.m. Saturday, December 17th, 2011. The ticket prices will range from $5 to $46 for the 2012 season out of those more than 75 percent of available tickets are priced at $27 or less….
The Gateway Holiday Tree Lighting Event will take place at the Gateway Commons Pool on Friday December 2 at 6:00 PM. This is the 4th Annual Gateway Community Tree Lighting Event. WCI Communities Inc. has announced they will be fixing the potholes on the sections of roads that they currently own on Gateway Blvd. and Griffin Dr. WCI Communities of Fort Myers has started repairing the roads along Gateway Blvd and Griffin Dr. this week. A recent topic in the local news is a planned development coming near Gateway that would include a Casino Gaming Resort that includes 1500 Hotel Rooms and convention center space. These are updated photos from October 8th of the construction progress for the Boston Red Sox Spring Training Facility, the stadium construction in Fort Myers, Florida. The construction for JetBlue Park is on schedule and the road widening of Daniels Parkway, providing plenty of access to the stadium, is almost done.
